Thu, September 24, 2026: Connecting Music Cities: Berlin × Fukuoka — Learn, Connect, Share

The Music City Council of Fukuoka, which promotes the local music industry and music-led urban development, will hold a pitch session at “Thursday Gathering #86,” organized by Venture Café Fukuoka, on Thursday, September 24.

Connecting the two music cities of Berlin and Fukuoka, the session will deepen our understanding of each city's initiatives. The opening act will feature a sound installation by Sakamoto Yutaka, a creator with experience working in Berlin.
We will also connect the venue online with Berlin-based electronic music industry organization AFEM（Association For Electronical Music） to introduce their diverse cross-border music initiatives and the ways they combine music with technology. We will share examples of how easily music can cross national borders.
