Performer Profiles
Kaori Sakko
She studied with Pablo Ziegler and Hernán Possetti and has shared many stages with Miguel Zotto and Roberto Herrera.
She performs mainly in Italy as well as Qatar, France, and elsewhere.
Now based in Spain, she works with Luis Caruana on bandoneon.
Through an audition, she earned the opportunity to perform in a concert sponsored by a major Spanish bank.
She also teaches piano at a music school and works as an accompanist for instrumentalists.

Yukie Kawanami
Born in Munakata, Fukuoka Prefecture, she graduated from Fukuoka Jo Gakuin and the piano program at Tokyo College of Music.
She won first prize at the inaugural Che Bandoneon International Competition and has performed in more than 20 regions overseas.
After meeting Eri Watanabe, she appeared in the stage production Ribbon. She has since worked widely across genres and cultures, collaborating with Hideki Saijo, Kenji Sawada, Tsurube Shofukutei, and others and making many media appearances.
Through her original Jabala Exercise song and origami, she gives early-childhood educational and outreach performances, fostering international cultural exchange through music and smiles.
