After graduating from the music program at Fukuoka Jo Gakuin High School, she entered the piano program in the Department of Instrumental Music at Kunitachi College of Music. In her third year, she transferred to the music-therapy program and studied piano and voice. As a domestic and international training scholar, she attended the Vienna International Summer Music Seminar, appeared in its completion concert, and earned a diploma before graduating from Kunitachi’s music-therapy program. She also earned a diploma from the Warsaw University of Music spring seminar. As a soloist with the Sant’Angelo Philharmonic Orchestra, she performed Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Her appearances include the 34th Tokyo International Association of Artists Newcomer Concert, the 52nd Concert Introducing Musicians from Western Japan, the 46th Kitakyushu Arts Festival Classical Concert, and the Chopin Society of Japan’s sixth recommended-artist concert. As a Fukuoka artist, she has performed at Music City Tenjin and the Fukuoka Christmas Market, including piano-and-vocal sets. She studied with Minoru Umemoto, Hiroshi Kurokawa, Minoru Nojima, Alexander Braginsky, Bronisława Kawalla, and Philippe Giusiano. Since 2015, she has regularly visited the United Kingdom to study improvisation-centered Nordoff-Robbins music-therapy techniques with registered UK music therapist Rachel Verney. She currently runs Aya Piano School, works as a music therapist at Nakagawa Hospital and Heartfield Chikushigaoka, and is an instructor member of the Piano Teachers’ National Association of Japan.

Come directly to the CANVAS Lounge on the second floor of The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu and enjoy the performance. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each guest is asked to order at least one drink in the lounge. There is no music charge.
