An American piano-playing singer who has worked professionally since age 20, he performs at hotels, weddings, concert halls, cruise ships, outdoor shows, and more. Raised between Japan and the United States, he is fluent in Japanese and deeply familiar with both cultures. His singing-and-piano style ranges from soft jazz to energetic pop, with arrangements that make familiar songs sound fresh. He adapts freely to each place, audience, and purpose, drawing listeners in through broad musical knowledge and engaging talk. He is also a popular radio DJ on LOVE FM and has interviewed international performers and leading Japanese artists including Keisuke Kuwata. His many narrations and commercial songs are widely heard, as is his stadium video narration. In 2016, he founded the FROM LOVE recovery-support project for Kumamoto and Oita and wrote an original song. About 100 Fukuoka-based radio DJs, performers, narrators, musicians, and technicians helped create a CD whose proceeds supported disaster survivors. His discography includes seven albums. Responding to requests for Japanese songs, he created the MADE IN JAPAN series of English-language covers, translating with care for Japanese culture, lyrical meaning, and the atmosphere of each original.

Come directly to the CANVAS Lounge on the second floor of The Royal Park Canvas Fukuoka Nakasu and enjoy the performance. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each guest is asked to order at least one drink in the lounge. There is no music charge.
