Biography
Deep Sea Diving Club
Formed in Fukuoka in 2019, this mellow and adventurous four-piece features Sota Tani on guitar and vocals, Shohei Idehara on drums and backing vocals, Satoshi Torikai on bass and backing vocals, and Takahiro Oi on guitar and backing vocals. Its genre-free sound spans rock, R&B, and jazz.
The band released a digital single in October 2020 through Beacon LABEL, home to BBHF, NITRODAY, Warbear, and TERA.
On May 27 it released its first featured single, Flashback ’82 feat. Rinne. Selected for power play by six prefectural FM stations in Kyushu, its momentum began spreading nationwide.
On July 14, it released the second featured single, SUNSET CHEEKS feat. Michael Kaneko, with the origami PRODUCTIONS artist.
The third, Just Dance feat. kiki vivi lily, with a fellow Fukuoka singer-songwriter, was scheduled for Oct. 8.
Guitarist-vocalist Sota Tani currently serves as regular host of LOVE FM’s Fukuoka Collective Radio on the second Saturday of each month.

kiki vivi lily is a notable singer-songwriter creating vivid pop soul through a sweet, captivating voice and exceptional melodic sense. Her light movement across genres and collaborations with many artists give her a distinctive presence.
Her first full album vivid, released in June 2019, attracted attention with a perfect 10 review in MUSIC MAGAZINE and captivated dedicated and broad music listeners alike.
Over The Rainbow, a December 2019 collaboration with beatmaker SUKISHA, remained on Apple Music’s R&B chart for two years. An international debut in Spain expanded her global work.
She released the digital EP Good Luck Charm in December 2020. Its track Himegoto was selected for a Mitsui Outlet Park Surprise Sale commercial and became a long seller. Her collaboration with nobodyknows+ on Kokoro Odoru also drew major attention.
