Industrial-punk band ALLESWITZ, a cult favorite leading Kyushu’s underground scene, makes its hertz debut.
Fukuoka-based experimental-music event hertz, centered on noise, welcomes ALLESWITZ, a band leading Kyushu’s underground scene.
Using scrap materials, electronic instruments, and tools—and sometimes sending sparks flying—the band embodies industrial music through destructive sound and performance. Its mysterious appearance has been compared to a demolition site. With two shows in the Kanto region also confirmed, ALLESWITZ is making a singular impact beyond Kyushu. The lineup also includes Oita-based S_B_B, active in Japan and abroad, and Bog Down Tapes organizer Confused Head, bringing together artists whose sounds carry destruction and danger.

ALLESWITZ
ALLESWITZ is an industrial-punk band that uses scrap materials and tools. It formed during the pandemic around Uto of accidents in too large field and formerly VELOCITYUT. Each member is a singular presence in Kyushu’s underground scene, and the band itself long remained shrouded in darkness. Its first seven-inch EP, ALLESWITZ, appeared in 2022. Recalling Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire while letting faint melodies distort the space, its sound radically bends the musical perceptions of those who witness it.
