Celebrating the publication of JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP — NEW WAVE

The Japanese Rock Poster Exhibition held at the Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art in September 2025 attracted many visitors and received an enthusiastic response.
Music producer, label owner, and gallery director Yasushi Ide published JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP ROCK, a collection of posters and flyers from the Japanese rock scene, following the publication of his autobiography Rolling On The Road in 2023. The first printing of 2,000 copies sold out immediately, and the well-received book is now in a second printing.

Celebrating its sequel, the new JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP — TECHNO POP / NEW WAVE, this exhibition presents around 100 posters and flyers that shaped Japan’s technopop and new wave culture.
Every item is an original produced at the time, offering a rare opportunity to experience the distinctive texture and impact of these scarce printed works.
The popular “Fukuoka Rock” section from the previous exhibition will also return in an expanded form.

The venue will sell the official catalog JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP TECHNO POP NEW WAVE, as well as releases from Grand Gallery, the music label directed by Ide.
